Talk: A Short History of Shortlands

Further to my post Thirty Years On – Sadness & Celebration (part one) (link here), I am delighted to be giving an illustrated talk to the newly-formed Bourne End (Bucks) One-Place Study Group on Thursday 15th August, 8.00pm at the Bourne End Community Centre.

The talk will look at both the early days of the store, why it came to Bourne End, as well as its more recent history. There should be plenty of opportunity afterwards for reminiscing and to share memories.
